Crêches-sur-Saône
From vineyards to meadows, Creches-Sur-Saône is astonishingly diverse. It is a flower-decked village bursting with contrast. A village with lots of shops and hotels. Stroll through to get a feel of the atmosphere. The village is crossed by the main transport links, direct descendants of the Via Agrippa which has left the stamps of its passage and trade on the village.
Just a few steps from the busy RN6 you will find the calm of the river Saône or the vineyards. At the turn of a lane you might see a medieval castle or a Renaissance château , a house built using pisé or traditional vinegrowers' houses, not forgetting other architectural heritage including crosses, wells and old wash-houses. The hotels and other lodging offers here make the village an ideal base for your explorations.
